Rob Simmons

Owner, DFC SUSPENSION

DFC Suspension was founded in 2017 by owner Rob Simmons, a 22-year veteran of the heavy equipment, hydraulics, and fabrication industry. A lifelong woods rider, Rob combined his deep technical background with an unwavering commitment to learning, creating a natural progression into the world of motorcycle suspension.

Today, DFC Suspension is recognized as one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier Flat Track suspension builders, earning a reputation as one of the top two specialists in the region. In its early development, DFC benefited from informal mentorship under industry icon Davey Durelle, knowledge that helped shape the company’s foundation. Over the years, DFC has refined its own methodology and delivered top-tier suspension builds for Pro AFT competitors, local outlaw pros, and amateur racers on both regional and national stages.

While Flat Track remains a core strength, DFC Suspension is a multidisciplinary suspension shop specializing in Motocross, Single Track, Hard Enduro, Supermoto, Adventure, BDR, Hillclimb, and Road Racing. With verified data from our in-house suspension dyno and a portfolio of podium-proven builds across every discipline, we offer riders a trusted combination of precision, performance, and reliability.

Driven by a passion for innovation and an unwillingness to accept “no” as an endpoint. Rob has cultivated strong relationships with leading suspension pioneers, component manufacturers, and expert tuners across the industry. This network, paired with DFC’s dedication to clear communication and rider education, continues to propel the company’s mission: Elevate suspension performance and reshape the standard of what riders can expect from a modern suspension service center.
