Tactical Works Racing is owned and operated by Shane LeForge, a distinguished veteran who has served a 20+ year career in the United States Army with over 9 years in Special Operations. Throughout his military career, Shane demonstrated exceptional technical and tactical proficiency, leading over 150 Tactical Ground Movements during combat operations. His attention to detail—honed through years of high-stakes missions where precision meant the difference between success and failure—positions him as an ideal candidate for precision suspension tuning.

Shane's passion for motocross began in 1994, and by the end of 2003, he had advanced to the professional ranks, competing in the AMA Arenacross Series. Even while serving in the military, he remained a formidable competitor, securing multiple state championships across Ohio, Colorado, Georgia, and Kentucky. This unique combination of elite military training and professional racing experience gives Shane an unparalleled understanding of what it takes to perform under pressure—whether on the battlefield or in the workshop. 

As he transitions into his next chapter, Shane is focused on advancing his career as a suspension tuner for several key reasons:

In addition to his professional pursuits, Shane enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, riding dirt bikes, mountain biking, and BMX. Strategic Service Centers offer comprehensive suspension training covering all types of off-road suspension. Each center is equipped to handle everything from standard rebuilds to complete revalving based on the rider’s weight, skill level, and riding style. All suspension settings are developed and provided by our main office to ensure consistency and performance. When custom settings are required, our team works directly with experienced tuners to develop tailored specifications that meet the unique needs of each customer.
